Another week closer to my first marathon! Two weeks to go. I feel ready, physically and mentally. We did a 21km training run yesterday morning and I felt totally finished after, think I am just tired from all the running and running and running...I decided I wasn't doing enough strength training in between so I started Kayla Itsines BBG workout again. I did the first twelve weeks last summer and with my running it really worked for me. I think it really does what it promises, but you have to eat semi right as well, as with any kind of training. I have also been doing Sweat 1000 classes which I am loving. But I'll tell you all about that in another post.

I often do my best workouts in new gear, there is just something about feeling good in your gym gear. It motivates me a little bit more and makes me feel good, you too? I've been waiting for the sun to come out so I can finally run in less layers and bring out some of my new running and gym bras. This one is from Cotton On Body. Love the back of it! Also picked up this gym tank with the cross back from them. This season is all about straps and interesting backs for gym and swimwear. Best part is that everyone can pull it off, I mean our back is the one body part most of us are happy to show off right? Either way, be comfy in your workout gear and feel confident in what you are working out in, that's the first step in getting out there and getting fit!

Also spoilt myself about halfway through my marathon training with this Garmin Forerunner 10. I wanted a basic GPD watch that tracks my distance, pace and time. It's easy to use and a great basic entry level watch. Obvs not as good as the other Garmin I am testing (see my previous post) but it does what I needed to do and is an affordable option for those of you looking to get one and not rely on your phone to track your info.

P.S. Puma had an awesome sale, these tights were marked down and have a nifty back pocket.

P.P.S Still loving the new adidas Ultra Boost shoes but they are a bit too cushioned for me so I have been wearing them to gym and also casually with trackpants and a tee on weekends because firstly they are super comfy and secondly love that they are black and white.
