Last week I spent an arvy with the founder of Sissy Boy, Ronald Sassoon. He launched Sissy Boy in 1986. That's a hell of a long time ago, I was just born. It's amazing because it is still standing, very strong. While many businesses are struggling, they continue to grow. I guess it's a lot due to their product. Well, only due to it really because according to Ronald you cannot build a brand unless you look after your product. And they are all about just that. Denim. They are always asking what is next? How far can they push jeans-wear and denim as a fabric? Just FYI, apparently they were the first to produce snow-wash denim in the 80's and most recently the jegging. See! They introduced myself and other bloggers and Fashion Ed's to their very own laundry at the Sissy Boy H/Q dubbed The Washroom where they come up with new washes and techniques. They have a working recipe and there's nothing better than hearing first hand how passionate a team are about their brand. Thank you to Sissy Boy and Press Room for having me!
